Drifting
I’m going now I don’t know what I’ll go through I’m not sure if I’ll come back But I’m sure I’ll find myself And be more of me through this wander. I’m not going towards a destination, I just want to go through some progression. Just wanting to meet new souls, new places, new thoughts, new memories, and a renewed me. Just want to have too many places around my soul, Want to stay awake through the sun’s set & rise, with the moon and the land embracing me. Go through changes physically & perspectively, To breathe through one more day & night, And feel the sunrays bleach my hair and the breeze drying them, To get messy and then glow up. It’s not the forest nor the desert, Not just the wetlands or the grasslands, Not only the cosmopolitan cities nor the isolated rural, It’s the movement and the journey I want to go through.
